Position: Senior Layout Design Engineer/ Layout Manager
Experience: 10+ years of related work experience
Skills: Candidate must have experience in high-speed layout design using Cadence Allegro for complex PCBs preferably in the areas of telecom, datacom, storage, and/or servers and possess the ability to multitask and work well with others. Knowledge and experience in laying out switching power supplies, high speed differential buses, buried capacitance, micro-vias, via-in-pad, etc. is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing internal and external layout efforts
- Placing and routing PCBs
- Building footprints
- Management and facilitation of Arira's Allegro library with the intent of long-term reuse
- Participating in design reviews
- Working with hardware designers and clients to produce on time, on budget products.
Requirements:
- Proficient with schematic to layout design flow
- Proficient with all aspects of Cadence PCB Editor XL (Allegro)
- Proficient with all aspects of Cadence PCB Router (SPECCTRA)
- Understands basic engineering layout requirements
- Layout planning/execution skills

Position: Senior HW Design Engineer
Experience: 7+ years of related work experience
Skills: Candidate must have experience in developing hardware for large systems preferably in the areas of telecom, datacom, storage, and/or servers. Responsibilities will include authoring of design specifications, component selection, schematic entry, managing design layout, board bring-up / debug, and participating in design reviews. Interaction with end clients on an as-needed basis is also required. Knowledge and experience in the following are a plus: Cadence Allegro, Verilog / VHDL, Perl, C and/or C++,
8086 or 68000 assembly language.

Position: Junior HW Design Engineer
Experience: 2+ years of related work experience
Skills: Candidate should have experience in developing small to medium complexity boards from concept to prototype. Responsibilities will include schematic symbol creation, component selection, schematic entry, managing design layout, some board bring-up and debug. Knowledge and experience in the following are a plus: Verilog / VHDL, Perl, C and/or C++, 8086 or 68000 assembly language.
